Experience B-CS hands out annual Tourism Impact Awards

More than 20 businesses and community members were recognized in various categories.

Experience Bryan College Station held its annual Tourism Impact Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on May 14. This event celebrates those who have had a positive influence on area travel, tourism and the economy.

More than 20 businesses and community members were recognized in various categories.

Businesses honored were Aloft College Station Hotel, Pepsico, The Stella Hotel, Walmart, Chef Tai Restaurants, Chicken Express, Holiday Inn and Suites, Aimbridge Hospitality, Hilton College Station and Conference Center, Casa Ole, Chick-fil-A, Pita Pit, BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse, C&J’s Barbeque, Target, Jason’s Deli, Four Points by Sheraton, H-E-B, Smitty K’s Bar and Grill and Jimmy John’s. Individual award winners were Kenny Wiley, a reporter for The EagleEnrique Luna with NFCA Texas High School Leadoff Classic; Isaac Butler Jr. with the Brazos County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office; Kasey Menn with Hawthorne Suites and Hyatt Place College Station; Texas A&M Hotel and Conference Center; and Jessica Zuazua, a member of the Experience Bryan College Station Howdy Crew.
