Our Neighbors: Daughters of the American Revolution

The Captain Robert Kyle Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution held its organization celebration on Dec. 7 at the Clara B. Mounce Public Library in Downtown Bryan. Organizing members pictured, left to right, are (front row) Vice Regent Debbie Carlson, Regent Pamela Marshall, Barbara Althaus, and (back row) Treasurer Anna Balfanz, Librarian Melissa Carlson, Registrar Erin Carlson and Recording Secretary Kim Lamb. Kyle is the American Revolutionary War patriot ancestor of chapter member Barbara Althaus and also the ancestor of the namesake of Kyle Field at Texas A&M University.
