A&M Consolidated went 4-0 at its 7-on-7 football tournament Friday to earn a berth in the state tournament, which is June 27-29 at Veterans Park.

The Tigers beat Cedar Ridge 48-20 in the championship game to qualify. Clear Brook also went 4-0 at the qualifier, beating Waco Midway 47-27 to advance to state.

Three other local schools competed but did not qualify. College Station and Rudder both went 2-1, and Brenham went 1-2.
