The hits keep coming for the young College Station baseball team.

Junior outfielder Ryan Johnson was one of the first 10 players named to the roster for the 2014 Under Armour All-America Game that will be played in Chicago at Wrigley Field in August.

Johnson, who has committed to sign with Texas Christian, is considered one of the nation's top players in the class of 2015.

The players in the All-America Game are selected by a committee of Baseball Factory scouts.

Johnson also played in last year's All-America Game, when he was one of two players selected from the class of 2015. He is the third player ever chosen twice for the prestigious game since its inception in 2008.

He had a strong performance at Wrigley Field during the 2013 event and we look forward to seeing him showcase again this summer when he heads back to Chicago," said Steve Bernhardt, chairman of the selection committee and executive vice president of baseball operations at Baseball Factory.

Earlier this week, the College Station baseball team was announced as the No. 1 team in Class 3A in the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association preseason poll.
