With two nights left in the Texas Collegiate League’s regular season, the overall title is up for grabs.

The Brazos Valley Bombers (32-16, 11-11 second half) have a game lead on the Victoria Generals (32-18, 14-8), who completed a two-game sweep of the Texarkana Twins (22-23, 10-11) on Wednesday with a 9-7 victory in 10 innings.

The regular season will end with the Twins at the Bombers on Thursday and Friday with games at 7:05 p.m. Victoria will be home to the Acadiana Cane Cutters (18-30, 12-11) both nights.

The Bombers can win their eighth straight regular-season title with one more victory or one more loss by the Generals. The Cane Cutters have a one-game lead on the Twins in the battle for the No. 3 seed for the upcoming best-of-3 divisional series, which will start Saturday. The No. 3 seed will host Victoria while the No. 4 seed will host the No. 1-seeded Bombers.

The divisional winners will meet for the championship in one game played at the team with the best overall record.
