Fifteen Brazos Valley baseball seniors earned Texas High School Baseball Coaches All-State Academic honors.

Caldwell had five players and Madisonville had four make the 4A team. Caldwell had the most players of any team in the Brazos Valley with Thomas Berry, Ty Jungman, Kade Sanchez, Trent Stefka and Jacob Trelfa making the team. Representing Madisonville were Max Allen, Jordan Baker, Brandon Larson and Jake Risinger.

In Class 2A, Iola’s Cody Ozbolt and Jaggar Vaughn and Normangee’s Logan Andrews and Cobey Powell made the team. Brenham’s Evan Schroeder and Hayden Schroeder made the 5A team.

Only seniors were eligible for selection and had to have a grade point average of 93 or higher from ninth grade through 12th grade along with being in good team standing and of good moral character.
