The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC is moving from the Premier Development League (PDL) to the United Soccer League (USL) League Two starting in the 2019 soccer season. The PDL announced recently that it is merging with the USL.

The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC will open the 2018 season with an exhibition match against the USA ISL’s FC Oilers at Nutrabolt Stadium at 7:30 p.m. May 19.

The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC announced Wednesday that manager James Clarkson and assistant coach Daniel Roberts will return for the 2018 season. The duo coached the Cavalry in their inaugural season last year, leading it to a third-place finish in the PDL’s Mid-South Division.

The Brazos Valley Cavalry FC will open its season with an exhibition against ISL USA FC at Nutrabolt Stadium on May 19 and begin regular season play in the Premier Development League at home against Houston FC on May 22.
