College Station and Leon are the only Brazos Valley schools to finish in the Top 25 in the UIL’s Lone Star Cup.

College Station had 53 points to tie Amarillo for 17th in Class 5A, and Leon had 36 points to tie Mart and Sabine Pass for 21st in 2A.

The Lone Star Cup awards points for district championships, playoff berths and state championship performances in athletics, UIL academics and all other UIL-sanctioned competitions (marching band, robotics BEST, robotics FIRST, congress, mariachi, film, one-act play and theatrical design)

Southlake Carroll won the 6A title, while Highland Park won 5A, Argyle 4A, Brock 3A, Mason 2A and Nazareth Class A.
