Rockdale wide receiver and defensive back Jaquayln Crawford is shaping up to be one of the Brazos Valley's most sought after Class of 2018 recruits.
The 5-foot-10, 170-pound four-star recruit was recently ranked at No. 227 in 274Sports Class of 2018 rankings and Tuesday he received an offer from Oklahoma, per his Twitter.
Crawford also has offers from Texas, TCU, Baylor, Colorado, Houston, Missouri, Oklahoma State, Minnesota and others, according to 247Sports.
Last season he racked up 39 receptions for 811 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also added three return touchdowns on his way to being selected District 10-3A-I Most Valuable Player.
According to 247Sports, Crawford is the 29th-ranked player at his position nationally and is the 39th-ranked player in Texas. Scout ranks Crawford as the No. 8 wide receiver in Texas and the No. 258 player overall.
With Crawford’s numbers from last season and accolades from national recruiting services, it’s fair to say Oklahoma probably won’t be the last team to extend an offer.
