GIDDINGS — The College Station girls track and field team scored 252 points en route to claiming the team championship at the Giddings Buffalo Relays Friday night.

College Station’s Gabby Orzabal won the 400 and 800 meters. Other first places for the Lady Cougars came from Kelsie Warren (3,200), Cayleigh Lekven (300 hurdles), Leah Lewis (1,600), Arisha Ali (triple jump) and the 400 relay team of Cory Nutall, Raven Manley, Kristina Lantz and Ariel Carter.

College Station’s JV team also won the team title.

The next meet for the Lady Cougars will be March 21 at Waco La Vega.
