GEORGETOWN — The A&M Consolidated girls soccer team was able to play two of three scheduled games at the annual Governors Cup, drawing 2-2 with Round Rock McNeil and defeating Leander Rouse 2-0. A third game was cancelled due to ice on the playing field.

Shayleigh Vinson and Mycah Miller had a goal and an assist against McNeil. Miller and Rebecca Curry scored against Leander Rouse and Reagan McGinnis recorded the shutout.

Consol (4-2-1) begins district play against Lufkin at Tiger Stadium Friday at 6 p.m.
