HEARNE — With Homecoming festivities in full swing and a District 13-2A Division I rival 20 miles down Highway 79 coming to town, Hearne had plenty of excitement surrounding Friday’s game against Milano.
THRALL — The Hearne Eagles scored in every quarter in grabbing a 48-25 victory over the Thrall Tigers in District 13-2A-I play. Hearne (3-3, 1-1) took a 28-12 halftime lead. Thrall (4-2, 1-1) had a two-game winning streak snapped.

FRANKLIN — Sophomore Marcus Wade Jr., passed for two touchdowns and was part of a powerful running attack that had 351 yards as the Franklin Lions rolled to a 49-6 victory over the Hearne Eagles in a Friday high school football opener matching Robertson County teams.
