SOMERVILLE — The Somerville football team notched its second win under first-year coach Cal Neatherlin on Friday, defeating Woodsboro 39-22 in nondistrict play.

BURTON — Caleb Harmel threw five touchdown passes, three of them to TCU pledge Demonderick Winters, as the Burton Panthers rolled over the Somerville Yeguas 47-0 on Friday in District 14-2A Division II play.

SOMERVILLE — Bryce Steel threw for 168 yards and two touchdowns, and Gib Tucker ran for 93 yards and two more scores to lead Brazos Christian past Somerville 27-6 on Friday.

Centerville 34, Trinity 20: CENTERVILLE — Centerville bounced back from a road loss at Corrigan-Camden with a 34-20 victory over Trinity.

Offensive player of the week: Lexington senior running back Ja’Kobe Cooper rushed for 307 yards and four touchdowns on 26 carries (11.8 ypc) as the Eagles ran away in the fourth quarter for a 49-28 win over Troy.
