College Station senior Kendall Tramel and juniors Hailey Hudson and Brionna Warren were named to the Texas Girls Coaches Association’s Class 5A all-state softball team.

Brenham senior Kathryn Marshall also made the 5A team and Leon junior Rosemary Rivera was on the Class 2A team.

Left fielder Tramel, who signed with Harding University, batted .448 for the Cougars (31-5-1), who reached the Region III semifinals. Hudson was 29-5 pitching with a 1.02 earned run average and 227 strikeouts in 206 innings. The Texas commit also batted .351 with seven home runs and 37 runs batted in.

Center fielder Warren batted .506 with an .897 slugging percentage as the 19-5A Co-Most Valuable Player had nine doubles, five triples and five home runs. The Texas A&M pledge had 32 RBIs.

Marshall batted .450 with nine homers and 27 RBIs. The Northwestern State signee earned all-state honors for a second straight season. Rivera batted .529 with 46 RBIs. The third baseman was the 21-2A MVP and had 20 extra base hits.
