Rudder senior Ladarius Johnson may just be responsible for the biggest bucket in the nine-year history of the school's boys basketball program.

He sent the Rangers to the Class 5A Region III quarterfinals with a last-second put-back layup  in a 73-71 double-overtime win over Brenham

The Rangers are heading to the regional quarterfinals for the first time in program history, as they'll take on A&M Consolidated at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Bryan.
