If you went to the mailbox to get this issue, and you realized you were a little more tired than usual by the time you got back in the house, well then all I can say is I'm sorry. You may notice this issue is a little bigger than normal. That is because this is our annual Bull Issue, and much like a bull this issue is big, bad and mean. OK, maybe not mean. If anything it is polite and informative. And, by bad, I mean good, which is something I think the kids are still saying these days. Basically it's big, that is the main point I'm trying to get across.

It is a good thing it is a big issue, because we have a lot to cover. We have a cover story on bull selection basics, and then another feature on reproductive health. We also have a lot of ads that have information on some of the best sales going on around the state this fall.

We have all this information wrapped together with our regular features and coverage to make up one big Bull Issue. I hope you enjoy it, and as always, thanks for reading.

'Til next time,
