MLS players train hard and play hard. How hard? They train at 95-100 percent of max effort which is like running at a sprint continuously. Soccer players run about seven miles in a game drawing on speed, strength, balance, cleverness, coordination and endurance. This level of training and performance can lead to delayed onset of muscle soreness and/or exercise induced muscle damage; the latter can last for up to 5-7 days. As with any training regimen, recovery is vital. While a traditional ice bath is an option, many professional athletes from around the world prefer the Impact equipment. It’s easier, it’s quicker and it can be used before exertion as well as after exertion, a comfortably cool addition to the players’ regimen. Jeffrey Foldenauer of Collins Sports Medicine stated, “we connect professional and collegiate clients with the best equipment for athletic training facilities. Impact provides not only the best technology but also the best support in cryotherapy.”

Impact Cryotherapy, Inc. is the leading manufacturer of whole body cryotherapy in the US and has cryosaunas deployed with Major League and Collegiate soccer, football, basketball, ice hockey and baseball teams. Impact equipment runs consistently cold sessions with no down-time, is efficient and is safe. “We congratulate the Boys in Blue on a fantastic year!” said Richard Otto, CEO of Impact. He further stated, “our highest priority is the safety of the users of our equipment. We have sold over 500 cryosaunas, with our customers operating tens of thousands of sessions each week.” Impact’s unique internal process and safety features are covered under a broad patent issued by the US Patent and Trademark Office. Furthermore, Impact has almost 1000 cryosauna operators who have successfully taken the copyrighted Cryosauna Operator’s test.
