A Bryan couple was arrested Friday after authorities said THC-laced candy, THC-laced brownies and other drugs were found in their apartment.
According to Bryan police, officers were called to an apartment complex on Finfeather Road early Friday on the report of a disturbance. Police spoke with James Ray Glover Jr., 29, who allowed police inside the home to check on Refugia Lynn Watson, 29, who was hiding in the bathroom. While standing outside the bathroom door, an officer noticed two syringes on a night stand of the adjacent bedroom, a report notes. Police said they later determined the syringes contained methamphetamine.
Watson and Glover were eventually arrested on outstanding warrants and a search warrant was requested for the apartment. Police said marijuana was located throughout the home, as well as gummy candies and brownies laced with THC.
The two are charged with possession of more than a pound of THC oil, an enhanced first-degree felony punishable by up to life in prison; possession of a controlled substance, a state jail felony punishable by up to two years in a state jail; and misdemeanor charges of possession of
marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Watson is being held in the Brazos County Jail on $54,340 bond, while Glover is being held on $39,340 bond.
