A Bryan man was arrested Friday after on accusations he was driving while intoxicated with two children in the vehicle.
According to Bryan police, around 9:30 p.m., a witness at a gas station on Boonville Road called authorities after seeing a man — later identified as Justin Wade Falkenbury, 28 — stumble through the parking lot and climb into a vehicle with heavy front end damage. The witness said a small child was standing at the vehicle.
Officers responded to the gas station, but the man had left. However, his vehicle was tracked to a nearby apartment complex, where police spoke with Falkenbury. Authorities said he smelled of alcohol and his eyes were glassy and bloodshot. He confirmed he had been at the store with two children, ages 7 and 5, police said.
Falkenbury is charged with two counts of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger under 15, a state jail felony each punishable by up to two years in a state jail and $10,000 in fines. He was released from the Brazos County Jail on $10,000 bond
