Bryan police are investigating after a man was found dead on a city street early Friday.

According to authorities, officers were called to the 1100 block of Ravine Avenue around 2 a.m. after passers-by noticed a man lying in the road. Police arrived on scene and found 58-year-old Reginald Eugene Caldwell unresponsive on the ground. Officers performed CPR and medics were called, but Caldwell was pronounced dead upon arriving at CHI St. Joseph Hospital, police said.

Authorities said they do not believe the death was foul play, and there were no visible signs of trauma on Caldwell’s body.
