Jeremy Osborne, the co-founder and chief legal officer of Pegasus Optimization Managers, has been named a finalist for the Ernst & Young Enterpreneur of the Year Award for the Gulf Coast area.

The program, now in its 33rd year, recognizes entrepreneurs and leaders of growing companies for their innovation, financial performance and commitment to their businesses and communities.

Osborne was selected as a finalist by a panel of independent judges. Winners will be announced at a gala event on June 21 in Houston.

Pegasus is a College Station-based oil field services firm specializing in natural gas compression. It has more than 200 employees.

Osborne was appointed to the College Station Planning and Zoning Commission in January.
