A new sports bar is headed to College Station.
A groundbreaking for Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar took place Tuesday at 4320 Texas 6, where the 8,800-square-foot restaurant is set to open in November.
Franchise owners Jenny and Cory Davis are Texas A&M graduates who spent three years in Lafayette, Louisiana, where they frequented the Walk-On’s Bistreaux & Bar.
The College Station restaurant is expected to employ up to 200 people.
The Baton Rouge, Louisiana-based chain was founded in 2003 and has more than 100 locations in development in 15 states. The menu is inspired by Louisiana cuisine, according to the company.
