A Huntsville man remained in the Brazos County Jail Monday night after authorities reported finding documents belonging to other people in his vehicle.

According to the arrest report, College Station police officers responding to a report of an ordinance violation around 2:30 a.m. Monday noticed drug paraphernalia in John Wesley Obanion’s vehicle. A search yielded documents including utility bills and government-issued IDs belonging to four people, including a minor.

Obanion was charged with fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, a state jail felony punishable by up to 2 years in jail and a $10,000 fine. His bail was set at $16,000.
