A College Station woman is facing multiple charges after authorities responded to a disturbance call over the weekend.
According to the police report, the woman barricaded herself inside the home after firing a gun during an argument with another person.
Brazos County sheriff’s deputies located a gun and drug paraphernalia hidden in a nearby wooded area, according to the arrest report.
The woman, 23-year-old Julia Hueske, eventually talked to deputies outside the house and admitted to firing the gun, according to the report.
Hueske was arrested on two traffic-related warrants and was also charged with deadly conduct, tampering with evidence and possession of a controlled substance. Each charge is a third-degree felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. She was also charged with possession of marijuana, a Class B misdemeanor, which is punishable by up to six months in jail and a $2,000 fine.
She remained in the Brazos County Jail Monday afternoon with bail set at $33,000.
