College Station police are investigating after shots were fired outside Taco Bell on Harvey Road on Friday.

Authorities said two people met in the restaurant’s parking lot for an unknown reason and got into an argument. During the argument, police said, one man pulled out a gun and shot at the other person’s vehicle.

According to CSPD Sgt. Kevin Harris, officers responded to the Taco Bell around 7:45 p.m. and authorities were not aware of any injuries. A College Station man had been taken into custody on charges of deadly conduct and evading arrest. Officers are continuing to search for others believed to have been involved, and the investigation remains ongoing.

Harris said Taco Bell remains open and there is no immediate threat to the public. Anyone with information is asked to call College Station police at 979-764-3600.
