The Bryan Police Department is investigating after a 60-year-old man reported being robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

Officials said the man was at a park on Pecan Street when another man approached and struck up a conversation. The man returned a short time later with a gun and demanded money, according to police. He ran off with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries, police said.

The man was described as black, between 20 and 30 years old and 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 209-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 775-TIPS.
