A Bryan woman has been arrested on a warrant out of Hays County in connection to a June 5 capital murder, authorities said.

According to San Marcos police, Chelsy Alice Mistretta, 21, was arrested in Bryan on a felony warrant for a capital murder charge. On June 5, San Marcos police discovered the body of Demarcus Trey Allen, 23, of Pasadena at an apartment. San Marcos authorities said Allen suffered an apparent gunshot wound, and the door of the apartment had been kicked in. Surveillance video showed two men left the scene in a white Cadillac Deville.

Jon Hunter Jervis, 23, was arrested on a drug charge outside a Bryan motel on June 16 after he was found asleep in a white Cadillac Deville. Jervis was later detained in connection to Allen’s death. Lapear O’Neal Willrich, 25, of Giddings was arrested June 19. Jervis and Willrich were both healing from gunshot wounds when they were detained.

San Marcos police said Mistretta was inside the car at the time of the slaying.

She is being held in the Brazos County Jail on $205,000 bond.
