Four people were hospitalized with minor injuries Friday evening, after police said a vehicle plowed through the front wall of a salon near Downtown Bryan.

According to officials, first responders were called to Q Beauty salon and beauty supply store on Texas Avenue in Bryan just before 7 p.m. after a pickup had driven through the business. Police said the truck’s driver, an elderly man, had unintentionally accelerated the vehicle forward from outside, breaching the store front. The man and three people inside the business were taken to area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Jae Han, son of Q Beauty’s owners, said barbers, hair stylists and some clients had been inside at the time of the crash.

The truck’s driver has not been cited at this time, officials said.
