A 19-year-old Hearne man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to charges of aggravated kidnapping and robbery.

According to the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office, Judge Travis Bryan III sentenced Quenderrius Jodeunxavier Jackson in connection to a March 2018 incident.

Officials said on March 18, 2018, Jackson and two others approached a College Station man who had just arrived home. The trio forced their way into the man’s car and Jackson held the victim at gunpoint. The assailants drove the car and victim to Hearne, where they attempted to use the man’s cards at an ATM. They were unsuccessful and dumped the man at an abandoned property in Hearne, authorities said. The victim walked to a home, where he called 9-1-1. The three were identified when surveillance footage caught them using the victim’s credit cards at local businesses.

Jackson’s co-defendants will stand trial in the fall.
