ILTexas charter school

An International Leadership of Texas charter school student was arrested Monday after being accused of threatening the school.

College Station police said officers went to the school on Longmire Drive in College Station just before 10:30 a.m. to investigate the report of a threat.

On Friday, the 14-year-old student threatened to kill people at the school, police said. School officials learned about the threat on Monday and called police, officials said.

The student was charged with terroristic threat, a Class B misdemeanor.

Police said there was no reason to believe there was an ongoing threat, and officials did not believe anyone else was involved.

Anyone with information is asked to call police at 764-3600.
