Navasota police are investigating a recent convenience store robbery.

According to Navasota police Chief Shawn Myatt, between 11 p.m. and midnight Sunday, a person entered the West End Grocery on Washington Avenue and pointed a weapon — later determined to be an Airsoft gun — at the cashier. The man demanded money, then fled the scene after receiving an undisclosed sum. No injuries were reported.

Anyone with information on the incident is asked to call Navasota police at 936-825-6410 and ask to speak with an investigator.
