A Bryan man was arrested Thursday after police say more than 700 Ecstasy tablets were found in his apartment.

According to Bryan police, detectives suspected drug sales were coming from an apartment in the 2000 block of Kazmeier Plaza. A search warrant was executed Thursday.

Inside the home, police said a jar containing 708 pills later determined to be Ecstasy tablets was located. Several ounces of suspected marijuana, a digital scale and packaging materials were found. A man who lived in the apartment, Tybiaz Rashad Thompson, 27, confirmed the drugs were for the purpose of distribution, police said.

He is charged with delivery of 164 grams of Ecstasy, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison. He was released from the Brazos County Jail on $25,000 bond.
