A Bryan man was arrested early Friday on accusations he vandalized five vehicles outside a Downtown Bryan bar.

According to Bryan police, around 2:15 a.m. Friday, two officers were dispatched to a bar on Main Street, where an employee said he saw a man scratching vehicles that were parked in the alley. The employee was able to take pictures of the suspect before he walked away, authorities said.

After getting a description, an officer located Antonio Sinoe Valencia, 38, on East 27th Street and located a knife in his pocket. Authorities said the knife was coated in white flakes, which the officer thought might be paint flakes from the victims’ vehicles.

Authorities determined the total losses for the five vehicles at about $25,000.

Valencia is charged with criminal mischief of more than $2,500, a state jail felony punishable by up to two years in a state jail, and public intoxication, a Class C misdemeanor punishable by up to a fine of $500. He was released from the Brazos County Jail on $5,455 bond.
