Police questioned Shawn Vincent Boniello, a New Mexico resident who identifies as a woman. According to Harris, Boniello and the baby’s grandfather had met earlier this year over a dating website, and Boniello moved to Rockdale several months ago to live with Rader’s grandfather. On Monday, Boniello was babysitting the 1-year-old.

Boniello confessed to punching, slapping, shaking and squeezing the child until the girl stopped moving, a police report notes. The report states Boniello mentioned feeling angry at the baby and squeezing her until Boniello felt the child’s bones move.

Boniello is charged with child endangerment and capital murder and was being held in the Milam County Jail. Bond has not yet been set.

He can call himself whatever he wants, but Shawn is male and on the day he gets the needle, will still be a male.

Pathetic, KBTX just comes straight out and calls Shawn a woman per guidelines fed to them by AP and the Gay Journalists Association guidelines. At least the Eagle correctly reports that Shawn "identifies as a woman." We all know the plain truth.

KBTX is nothing but local, liberal propaganda.

Shawn identifies as a woman? So how does law enforcement handle Shawn's confinement? Not sure why bond would even be an option in such a horrendous case.
