Hastings in College Station will host a pair of book signings this weekend with authors who have ties to Aggieland.

On Saturday, 1989 Texas A&M graduate Pamela Fagan Hutchins will be at the store from 2 to 4 p.m. to sign copies of her romantic murder mystery Saving Grace.

The book was the romance category winner in the 2010 Writers' League of Texas Manuscript Competition.

A former attorney, Hutchins has written six books and is a contributing author to several others. She and her husband have a ranch near Brenham.

On Sunday, Bryan resident Gene Paul Ort will be signing copies of his book Resonant Trinities from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The book follows Ort's quest to discover what it means to be made in the image and likeness of God.

Hastings is at 2004 Texas Ave.

Thank you so much for your support of Pamela Fagan Hutchins. It is so exciting for Pamela to come back to her Aggie Home for this signing. It is very special. Hope Y'all come out and say hi. She is wonderful in person and will talk for hours if you want her to about writing, publishing and all of the details went into creating this book, and to writing in general.
