Six people were arrested Tuesday after Brazos County sheriff’s deputies served a search warrant on a home and found more than 70 grams of methamphetamine, authorities said.
According to a press release from the sheriff’s office, the county’s SWAT team and investigators from the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division served a warrant on a home in the 6600 block of Dick Elliot Road. Authorities said more than 70 grams of methamphetamine, two firearms and drug paraphernalia were located.
Genie Juarez-Perez, 22, and Cassie Leanne Dick, 29, both of Hearne; Kody Allen Fox, 29, of Brenham; and John Michael Salvato, 21, are all charged with possession of more than four grams of methamphetamine, a second-degree felony punishable by up to 20 years in prison, and possession of less than a gram of a controlled substance, a state jail felony punishable by up to two years in a state jail.
Cynthia Ann Maldonado, 58, of Bryan, and Kathleen Joe Belford, 32, of Brazos County, are charged with two counts of possession of more than four grams of a controlled substance.
Dick and Maldonado are also being held on additional drug-related warrants, while Fox is being held on a Washington County warrant of failure to comply with the sex offender registry requirements.
The six remain in the Brazos County Jail. Bond had not been set Tuesday evening.
