Brazos Valley TROUPE continues Broadway Babies, its latest production, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday.

M.A. Sterling, TROUPE’s managing/artistic director, said, “The cast includes 17 of the best songstresses of the Brazos Valley and is, perhaps, the most diverse cast we have ever had in many ways, including age-wise, demographically and with the range of experience in musical theater.”

The cast includes TROUPE newcomers August Adams, Victoria Carter, Lilianna Morgan, Grace Evje and Rachel Villegas. Others in the cast are Patty Adams, Renee Berger, Carabelle Case, Jadyn Case, Tonya Cochran-Cooper, Mariah Cooper, Kaila Council, Ramona Dworkin, Jeannie Goodman, Tessa Jae, Evelyn Schmeichel and Maddie Weeks.

Shelby Rowan and her crew, including Ronica Case, Ginny Garrison-Tate and Jennifer Weeks, created the costumes for the show. Hair and makeup design is by Kaila Council and Maddie Weeks. Tessa Jae and Emma West were in charge of the set. Vocal coach is Tonya Cochran-Cooper, and Emma West is dance captain. Andrew Dixon, Andrew Burgos and Sterling designed the technical aspects of the show.

Broadway Babies is the first of TROUPE’s new Arts in Education Initiative & Outreach Unit — AEIOU. TROUPE will take this production into the community, thanks to a grant from the Joyce Nies & Peter Witt Foundation.
