A Bryan business was significantly damaged by a fire Friday morning, officials said.

According to Bryan Fire Department Chief Randy McGregor, shortly before 7:30 a.m., first responders were dispatched to BCS Trophies — located in the 300 block of E. Villa Maria Road — on the report of a fire. Firefighters forced entry into the building and eventually were able to extinguish the heavy flames. No injuries were reported.

McGregor noted that BCS Trophies was severely damaged, and the business owners do not have insurance. A fire marshal currently is investigating the cause.
