Car robbery

Update 4:30 p.m.: Bryan Police posted to social media that the vehicle was located in Bryan and a 16-year-old male was arrested. No other information is immediately available. 


Bryan police were investigating Tuesday after a Walmart employee was robbed and her car was stolen. 

According to police, two men approached the employee in the parking lot of the business off of North Harvey Mitchell Parkway around 10 p.m. Monday, pointed a gun at her and demanded her belongings and vehicle before driving off in the stolen vehicle. 

The woman was not injured, officials said. 

The stolen vehicle is a white 2012 Ford Fusion with a license plate of DJ8H682 and a custom rear license plate bracket that says "Margaritaville."

The men were both described as young and black. One is tall and thin and the other is of medium height with a medium build, police said.

Bryan police said members of the public should not approach the vehicle or the occupants. 

Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call police at 209-5300 or Crime Stoppers at 775-8477.
