A Bryan woman was sentenced to 8 years in prison on Wednesday after violating the conditions of her probation for driving while intoxicated, authorities said.
According to the Brazos County District Attorney's Office, Angela Kellar was arrested in 2013 for driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol concentration of more three times the legal limit.
In 2015, Kellar was placed on probation and completed rehabilitation twice, but officials said she admitted to drinking after being released on probation.
Officials said Kellar also had an ignition interlock device installed on her car to prevent her from driving after she had been drinking and recordings show that she blew alcohol into the machine multiple times while on probation and had someone else blow into the device on one occasion.
Kellar was indicted for failing to appear at a March hearing to revoke her probation, to which she pleaded guilty, officials said.
