A College Station couple remained in the Brazos County Jail on Wednesday evening after authorities said methamphetamine was found in their home.

According to College Station police, investigators were suspicious of drug sales coming from a house in the 1000 block of San Saba Drive. A warrant was executed on the home Tuesday.

Authorities said Matthew Colter Streckfuss, 28, and his girlfriend, Lasha Eileen Spacek, 33, were detained after police found methamphetamine. Authorities said drugs were found in a backpack in the master bedroom, a dresser drawer and in a work glove in the garage. A mirror with meth residue, drug paraphernalia, a digital scale and evidence Streckfuss was communicating with people about drug sales were also located, a report states.

The two are charged with manufacture and delivery of more than four grams of meth, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison and $10,000 in fines. Charges may be enhanced because of the house’s proximity to a child care center. Bail is set for $25,000 each.
