A College Station man was arrested Monday in connection to a February robbery. Christian Juwan Nelson, 21, was picked up at a Texas Avenue store on Monday after an arrest warrant was issued in a Feb. 14 robbery. Nelson also was arrested May 20 on accusations he beat and robbed a man in College Station on May 5. Court records show he was released from the Brazos County Jail the day of his arrest on a $50,000 bond.

Authorities say when they went to arrest Nelson on Monday he struggled and two officers had to pin him to the ground.

He is charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison, and resisting arrest, a Class A misdemeanor punishable by up to a year in jail. He is also being held on a bond violation charge. Nelson is being held at the Brazos County Jail on $262,000 bond.
