A College Station teenager was sentenced to 18 years in prison following a guilty plea to two counts of burglary for a habitation and an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon case this week.

According to the Brazos County District Attorney’s Office, Ethan Lambert, 19, was arrested twice in 2017 — once for a misdemeanor and once on a felony drug charge.

In March 2018, officials say that Lambert was arrested following reports that he was seen punching and kicking his girlfriend in the front yard of his home before dragging her into the residence, officials said.

In May, Lambert reportedly broke into a stranger’s home to assault his ex-girlfriend, the woman from the first case, and officials report that she was able to escape through a window. Reports state that Lambert, who was sentenced Monday, assaulted the homeowner when they tried to get him to leave and then assaulted his ex-girlfriend later that evening by cutting her arms and face with a knife.

Police responded to another report days later after Lambert broke into another residence searching for his ex-girlfriend and officials say he destroyed property inside the home while a young girl was forced to hide inside a cupboard.

Police say Lambert was arrested following each incident.
