The AustNtrak Model Train Club set up a large portable N-scale display with realistic buildings and intricate scenery at the Hearne Depot for public display.

The model train display is free and open to the public on Saturday and Aug. 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday and Aug. 25 from 1 to 5 p.m. It will also be open for viewing Aug. 21-23 during the Depot’s normal weekly hours of 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

School and senior adult groups are encouraged to visit during the week of Aug. 19-24. Group arrangements can be made by contacting Bob Batson at 806-790-4659.

The Hearne Depot is at 309 N. Market St. in Hearne.
