The future of China will be the topic of a panel discussion planned for Tuesday on the Texas A&M campus.

Three experts on the nation will discuss Chinese affairs under President Xi Jinping and their impact on the world stage during the event in the Annenberg Presidential Conference Center. The discussion is being hosted by the Scowcroft Institute at the Bush School of Government and Public Service.

The panel discussion begins at 6 p.m. following a 5:30 p.m. reception.

The panelists -- Elizabeth Economy, David Lampton and Carl Minzner -- will discuss China's current affairs and policies and what they indicate for the country's future role on the world stage.
