A College Station woman was arrested late Wednesday after police say she robbed a man at gunpoint on Harvey Road.

According to College Station police, just before midnight Wednesday officers responded to a call in the 800 block of Harvey Road. A man said he was trying to sell some items in a parking lot, and while making the transaction with one woman, a second woman identified by police as Christina Thurmon, 21, approached with a handgun. Police said Thurmon pointed the gun at the man and demanded his items before fleeing. No shots were fired.

Authorities traced the victim’s stolen cellphone to a nearby apartment complex, where they spoke with the woman the victim sold the items to, as well as Thurmon. Police recovered several stolen items and took Thurmon into custody.

She is charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony punishable by up to 99 years in prison an $10,000 in fines. Bond had not been set for Thurmon on Thursday evening.
