Six people were arrested Monday at a Bryan motel after authorities said synthetic marijuana, Ecstasy and Xanax were found in a room.
According to Bryan police, early Monday officers were conducting a check of a motel on Texas 21. They noticed a woman leaving a room while holding something in her hand. Authorities spoke to the woman and found she had a small amount of synthetic marijuana, police said. She was arrested on a misdemeanor drug possession charge.
A search warrant was obtained for the room, and when police entered the sounds of a toilet flushing could be heard, a report notes. In the toilet bowl, police said, a leafy green substance and a cigarillo wrapper were found.
A report notes that a bucket in the bathroom held packages of synthetic marijuana, and in a backpack police said Xanax, Ecstasy, a digital scale, more synthetic marijuana and a wallet were found. A makeup bag also contained a digital scale, authorities said.
Three people were arrested on misdemeanor drug charges.
