An 18-year-old Brenham man faces a third-degree felony charge after authorities accused him of stealing livestock in late July.
Investigators with the Washington County Sheriff's Office and the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association linked Lachristian Devon Hall to stolen cattle from a Burton-area ranch reported on July 28, according to a press release from the sheriff's office that did not indicate what linked Hall to the theft.
Hall was arrested at Brenham High School Monday and charged with theft of livesock, which carries a punishment of up to 10 years in prison.
He was taken to the Washington County Jail and held in lieu of $5,000 bail.
