A 78-year-old Bryan woman died Monday after a three-vehicle crash on Texas 6.

Bryan police said Lilian Crocker was driving south and had slowed for traffic  near the Boonville Road overpass when her vehicle was rear-ended by a pickup. The impact with the pickup forced her SUV into a third vehicle, which was exiting at the Briacrest Drive off-ramp at the time.

Crocker was taken to CHI St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan, where she died from her injuries. The driver of the pickup was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver and a passenger in the third vehicle did not require medical attention, police said.

The southbound lanes of the freeway were closed for just more than two hours while emergency crews cleared the wreckage.

No citations had been issued Monday afternoon.

My Aunt (picture above in black shirt) and Mother administered CPR on Lilian for around 10 minutes before the EMS arrived. They were able to get a pulse and revive her for a short time. They would love for her family to know that while reviving her and after her pulse came back the surrounding crowd joined in with prayers and that she was fully surrounded by the love of God. Hopefully this will reach her loved ones. May she rest in peace

I don't know if you knew this lady that you helped but those of us that did know her loved her. She was very sweet and loved the Lord and her family and friends. Thank you for loving and caring for her during her last few moments in this world. May the love of God and his mercies be with you all forever.
