Adin Konner Thatcher, 14, of College Station, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Adin's life at 11am Tuesday, June 4th at Skybreak Church, 4010 Harvey Rd in College Station.
He was born July 24, 2004, in College Station, Texas, to Justin and Kara Thatcher.
Adin was an intellect who had a passion for reading and learning. He was homeschooled since kindergarten allowing him to explore his many interests including World War II, trains, airplanes and many other topics. He was a collector of books and always surrounded by novels. His other passions included playing the piano and being a percussionist, which he won numerous awards and praise for both. Not only did Adin play, but he also had a love for listening to a variety of genres of music. When he wasn't reading or practicing Adin also enjoyed playing video games.
Adin enjoyed traveling and the many road trips he and his family took together over the years. He ventured to many aircraft, space, military and historic museums which followed along with his interests. He and his family also enjoyed attending numerous Texas A&M football games, going to the beach, fishing, hunting and boating together.
Adin was a wonderful big brother to his younger brother and sister and they all enjoyed spending time together, playing games and watching movies. Adin was an old-soul and always very empathetic towards others. He loved God, his family and America. He was a huge supporter of the military and veterans and from a young age wished to join the services or attend Texas A&M University and belong to the Corps. Being the true patriot that he was and always wanting to help others he became an organ donor to save the lives of other people and families. He was always a Believer in our Lord and was baptized at Skybreak Church in 2018.
Adin is survived by his father and mother, Justin and Kara Thatcher of College Station, Tx; his brother Evin Thatcher; his sister Erin Thatcher; his grandparents Brian and Cynthia Thatcher, of College Station; his grandmother Nina Hilly, of Humble; his great-grandmother Charlene Lusk of College Station; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly.
